I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
